Scrum Gathering Phoenix 2015

This was my first Scrum Gathering and I had a great time.

The opening keynote speaker was Mike Cohn.  It was a great way to kick off the conference.  His message was simple, “I might be wrong.”  Basically, he was saying that it’s ok to be wrong and we shouldn’t fear being wrong.

The first 2 days mostly consisted of 45 & 90 minute sessions.  However, there were also Pecha Kucha and Ignite Talks.

The final day was entirely devoted to Open Space.  This was my first experience with Open Space and I thought it worked really well.

I presented on day 2 (Overcoming Challenges in Distributed Agile).  Overall, I thought it went well.  Towards the end it turned into an open discussion which I thought was great.

I met some really fantastic people.  Hope to do this again!
